This week was an especially sad week at Khariz. My darling Danger left me at 13. He was an incredibly sweet soul and while he had a long and full life, the gap he leaves will be deeply felt.
Summer has also passed. A rude and sorrowful surprise to find she had hemangio sarcoma. A stealthy, destructive cancer. She was far too young. Sleep well my darlings. You are well loved. Piloted by the very talented Cody Temple, Ffinnigan had great results at the shows CFLASH weekend.
11.6 he was Best in Sweeps judged by Claudia Sebring and Reserve Winners Dog to a 5 point major under Clay Coady 11.7 he was Best Opposite in Sweeps under Erin Roberts. He and his brother Ffagan took turns winning their classes throughout the weekend. Ch. Omen Khariz E.E. Casablanca finishes under Clay Coady with a 5 point major. She is the final of her littermates to finish. Thank you Amy for putting the finishing points on our girl.
Ffinnigan and Ffatima both accepted their first points on October 24th and 25th from Bob Stein and Jackie Stacy.
Ffergus does it again. This time at hunting groups specialty in Poland.
He was Best of Breed Junior, winning another CC towards his junior title and then went on to be Best of Breed! Added bonus was winning Best in Show III for the District competition. Pictures to come. We are so thrilled with this young Saluki's success. Well done Diana and Ffergus. Best of Breed Junior & Best in Show IVFfergus has a wonderful beginning to his show career. Covid has stopped or slowed dog shows so he has not had a chance before now. He was Best of Breed Junior and won his first CC towards his Junior Championship. Icing on the cake was winning Best in Show IV at this sighthound specialty. Ffergus is owned, trained and loved by Diana Andrysiak.
